Great Expedition to Florida

I'm in florida...
It was so, so, so, so, so, so long. I hate long car rides. Here's how it went:

Day One: Sunday
Mom and Jeff picked us up after church. We bought a pizza and headed over to Marilyn's house to visit with her for a little while. She got a new dog and I fell in love with him. I asked her if she would consider trading him for Vivvian and she said she'd think about it. After we were done there we headed to Waukeegan to go to our hotel that my mother made reservations for over the internet on priceline at Candlewood Suites. And of course we walked in and there was only one bed and a recliner. Nice suite but how in the world were we supposed to fit five people on one bed? HOW? So my mom was on the phone for about two hours complaining and while that was going on I was practicly delirious in the recliner because I was all shivery and my nose was running. That was just bad. And finally we got me cold medicine and headed in the wrong direction to Woodman's. I told them multiple times that they were going the wrong way and would be going way out of their way and have to pay a $1.50 for tolls but do they listen to me? Nope.
Woodman's with mom and Jeff was just a catastrophe. That is me and my father's store. We found it and having her there was just way to weird. So for the first time, I cried at Woodmans. I missed my dad already. He's sorta my best friend in a way even though he's my dad. I tell him everything. And it felt weird having mom all over our store.I dont know. That just was not fun...However I did find a new item at Woodman's. Confetti Fish Sticks. Yeah. Weird.

So than we went back to our one bed hotel and made ourselves dinner with the food we bought at my sacred grocery store, and I fell asleep on the chair, shannah and viv took the bed, mom and Jeff slept on their air mattress on the floor.

Day Two: Monday
The next morning I woke up way early like I always do at hotels and once we were finally ready we headed out to Golden Corral for the breakfast buffet before we went to Great America.Turns out Golden Corral wasn't open yet so we went to IHOP. (Yes, Internationnal House of PANCAKES!)That was ok I ate half of my pancakes and some bacon. I hate eggs and sausage.

Than we finally got to the park and waited about ten minutes before it opened and got on a bunch of rides. Proboly the most of gottebn on in forever because my dad and I normally shoot straight toward raging bull where everyone rushes to considering in my opinion it is the best ride in the park so the other side was completely and totally empty. Walk ons on each ride.

When we went to Hurricane Harbor is when I got sad again. I wanted to call my dad and scream,"PICK ME UP! I HATE THIS! GET ME OUTTA HERE!" But of course I didn't because there are no pay phones in Hurricane Harbor just a lot of food stands. Why...you ask why I was so upset? Because that was me and my dad's special place too! I felt like she was intruding in our territory and I did not like that at all. My mom asked me what was wrong and I couldn't tell her. She'd be so sad that the secound day we were together I was getting homesick.

After that we were going to go back to the hotel to eat lunch and my mood brightened because in the parade I saw Jack. Ahh....Jack. He certainly has a way of making me all warm and smily inside. Hahaaha. Good times.

Back at the hotel we ate and shannah stayed back. Oh yeah did I mention it was sweltering hot on monday?! Yes because it was. I got burned and I rarely ever get burned.
Well we watched my favorite show ever!(Another Jack thing. Don't ask if you don't know.) That was just glorious. Ahhh....

We rode more rides than, left when the park closed, got mcdonalds, ate, and I fell asleep once again on my good old chair. Yipee! Not. (Oh and  I must say I was abit bothered that Jeff's favorite ride was Raging Bull. My dad's favorite ride is also the bull. Grr.)

Day Three: Tuesday
We packed up at that evil Candlewood Suites that make me sleep in uncomfortable armchairs and went to Krispy Kreme and Gurnee Mills where I bought batteries and five dollars worth of things at icing. It was really cool because the Mrs. United States Pagent was there. I saw Mrs. Wisconsin and was tempted to run up to her and ask her if she would adopt me and take me in aas her own because I want to get out ogf Indiana and go to Wisconsin desperately but than I guess I would just be considered weird.
Thane we arrived at our hotel, Hampton Inn in Portage. It was way nice and really comfortable. I love coca. I swam and took a long comfy shower before going to youth where there was a good three people. (Natasha, Brent, Kevin.) It was kinda awkward because my mom was there. So yeah it was just an awkward night at youth. Brent and I were the only ones on the worship team so I let him pick out the songs and baasicly did nothing until Jeff started talking. I was really nervous because Julie wasn't there yet and I was not going to sing by myself. But that all worke out. Jeff Krause talked first and then we had worship. That went fairly well. After church I sat and talked and beat up my camera and gave Julie a piece of plastic. It was a nice pice of plastic and it really came from my heart. Bahahaha.
Than I parted from everyone and went to wendy's and finally ate dinner. Than walmart. I was emotional there. Dont ask why.

Day Four:Wedensday
Loooong car ride. I sat on the floor in the van most of the time. We saw my aunt rose in Ohio, went through Kentucky and Tennesee, wrote Milanos named my taco at tace bell and went to Days Inn at Tennessee where I thought I was going to die.

Day Five: Today
Anther long car ride. wendy's. weird signs. kitties. home. computer. sitting. good night.
leave me a comment I'm going insane.

tomorrow is the start of an amazing expedition to Florida.(a.k.a 24 hours in an uncomfortable van.) Well actually Wedensday morning is. tommorow is actually the day we go to wisconsin. yeah wisconsin and mom...weird. It's a kinda me and my fathers sacred place but whatever but anyway since this is my last post until proboly friday I figure I should proboly write something all meaningful and philisophical(sp?).

Here we go: Eat cheese. Stay away from the broccoli. Always run around like a mad giraffe. Watch Robin Hood. Don't order the artichokes. Try not to run over any pigeons. Spend a nice day with your grandfather and play rummy.
That's all. For those of you do not attend my church I will see you in three weeks.

FINALLY!!

...we saw the Beaslys...

as you can see nothing has really changed

And leave it to Jeremy to bring his guitar into Wendy's

I love my little Julianne...her new favorite words are "Guess What?"

If anyones wondering I had a wonderful time with that family. They are exactly the same as they were when I met them in 1995. I am so glad I got to see them.
