Great America September 2007

Alright...so, I went to Gurnee/Waukeegan/Wisconsin for the weekend and that made me very happy. Dad was on midnights so that kinda messed up his sleep making me get messed up on my sleep. We stayed at Ramada Inn in Waukeegan. There was a wedding going on...

Me: Hey Dad, while you take a nap can I go crash that wedding?

Dad: NO! How would you feel if someone crashed YOUR wedding?

Me: I'd laugh.

But I didn't crash it. I'm a good girl. So I said hello to my bed which was very comfortable then we went to Gurnee Mills to return shoes I had bought in May. Then we ate food. It was good. Then I looked around TJ Max. Dad didn't feel like staying longer after that though so we went back to the hotel. Dad took a nap and I drove around Waukeegan. It is scary to drive there...

I went to the Salvation Army and found an amazing amount of items that I wanted for only 6 dollars. I'll tell you all about them later.

Then I went to Walgreens, CVS, and Jewel so I could find a good Waukeegan shirt. I found it at Jewel.

Then I went back and watched a movie on our portable dvd player. That was fun. JASPER! ha. Then I explored the hotel alot. Yep I slept terribly that night....not because of the beds just because. Oh and when I woke up around 8 or 9 Mom called informing me that My ninty something year old Aunt Rose fell and broke her hip. She'll be in a nursing home now. 

Then we went to Great America and met up with Aunt Julie, Uncle Don, Johnny, Danny, Chris, Samantha, and Kevin. I rode the teacups with Samantha and Kevin twice. Then I rode the train twice. Then I sat on a bench and talked to Adair. Great America just isnt doing it for me anymore. And now they might take out one of my favorite water rides, Splash Water Falls, out to put in Thomas Tank Engine land. I would be so ticked off! 

They already have Cartoon Network land, Loony Toons, and now Wiggles World. And WIGGLES ARE DISNEY! Disney best be keeping their little paws off of my Great America. They would ruin it.

Yeah then I saw operation Spy Girl...

Then we went to Perkins to eat. That was good as always. Then I went in Woodman's. I went spastic. I'll put videos on here as soon as my usb cable comes. =) And now I am home. I have lots to look forward to.

What an interesting day it has been today. I went to Great America on the unofficial gay day by mistake which was... kind of disturbing and annoying at the same time. Other than that it was a fun trip there. We stayed from 5 until close. I missed Hurricane Harbor that place is my home away from home. Although DJ Bob is no longer there. =(

He amused me. Then I saw a show and it was good. The girl from the show that I was obsessed with last fall (LAFF) was in it. But the boy wasn't. Sadness. I miss Jack. Those were good times. I was like a crazy fan girl, yeah like the girls I had always pitied. Ha.

Yeah, then we rode rides. Three to be exact. Then it was 9:00 and we left for Woodman's in the wonderful state of Wisconsin. I watched Deja Vu for the first time in two and a half weeks on the way there. That was fun.

Woodman's finally had windmill cookies. (Those are the source of it's greatness. The past two visits they were out and that made Woodman's a sad place.) So I was very ecstatic about that. It was like old times. I was really hyper and taking pictures and making friends with inatimite objects. (Stuffed cow) Yeah I guess I was getting overly hyper because this Woodman's guy walked up to me and goes,"Are you having fun yet?" That embarresed me slightly. I bet they watch for me, the crazy Wisconsin obsessed freak from Indiana and laugh at me the whole time I'm there. haha Next year for my 18th birthday party I'm getting a pinata. hahahaha.

Yeah so after we left my hyperness did not want to stop...So I wrote a six page story about a girl who lives on Mars and wants to buy a tree but the people of Mars won't have that. So she seeks her source to Danny, the dude from Hurricane Harbor that hands out floats. Danny likes Oak trees so he goes with the girl to Mars and they defeat the evil mars people that won't let the girl plant the tree. Then Danny and the girl get married. Then there's a whole bunch of madness but I can't tell you because then I'll ruin the story for those of you who actually care about my insane writings. (Mainly, Adair.)

So now I'm home. Teen Mania called me about that program I plan on attending next year. I'm afraid to call back.

I'm going to bed. I'm beat

Well, it's 7:47 a.m and I'm awake writing on here. I just woke up from a disturbing dream that my mom was pregnant (sorry mom but that would be disturbing.) Luckily my dad woke me up to tell me with excitement that he switched shifts with his friend at work and now we can go to great america once more...on the last day it's open. I was so happy I jumped out of bed and started writing this. Oh yeah. I'm so excited. And today is Whit's birthday party which will also make me happy cause I get to buy her a crazy birthday present. Yeaaaa!

Firght Fest!

Well, this was my first trip to Fright Fest this year and it was feezing! We got at the park at around 10:24 and started with Superman. The line wasn't too bad. We got in line for the back row and as soon as we sat down it broke down. So that was another 15 minutes. In the end it was a fun ride so it was worth it.

After that we went on V2 which was no more than ten minutes. That was good.

 We just walked around and exsplored the frightful themed Great America.(Oh yeah, we is my dad and I.) We rode King Chaos. That's my dad's favorite flat. And than went to go see Susan Rosen the hypnotist. The only reason I wanted to see it was so I could watch all the crazy stuff she makes the people do but there werent enough volunteers so she just did normal hypnotisim. That was kind of a waste.

After that we went to Raging Bull. My Dad was really cold and was being kind of a dud so we than ate lunch at Aunt Martha's Chicken which was just NOT good. But it was filling so I can't really complain.

Next, we saw Laff for the 2:15 show. I loved that as much as I did last year. My dad wanted to go to the mall and buy some new clothes but I wanted to stay so I just watched the next two laff shows. 3:30 and the 5:00 Let me tell you when you're in the season pass early access line it's like war. I hate people pushing and stepping on my feet just to get good seats. Regaurdless, I got front row seats each time which was good.

My dad came at 5:45 and wanted to leave the park. So we did.

Oh and I got a good ride on the Whizzer at one point. I just don't remember when. So I had a whopping total of 5 rides and 4 shows. Not too bad...I could have done better. See my album for pictures of this day.

Father Me My daddy was cold. Pretty fall colors. Those nuts smell so good but taste like poo. Me in a cage! Shannah wasnt there to join me this time! =( The best musical ever!!!!! The part where they break out in dance. Yea Conga! You bring out the beast in me! His face is constipated looking but that doesnt take away my love for him! hahahaha jk More conga.   Igor  BP in Kenosha.  Me going all insane over the bread.   That's a very good rule.   I FOUND MY MONKEY!  HE HAS AWOUND! =( My monkey likes yogurt  And crumpets!
